Our Lincoln Town Car Air Spring Bags & Solenoids Kit will replace the original Rear Air Springs & Solenoid valves;it comes with necessary o-rings to complete the replacement. Suspension Air Spring Bag failure is usually caused by dry rot, due to old age, or gases in the atmosphere degrade the rubber from the outside. If Air Spring Bags are not replaced on time it will cause Air Suspension Compressor Failure. Air Suspension Solenoid is the device that controls the flow of air in your air springs. Depending on the height of your vehicle, the solenoid receives the message allowing air to enter or escape to bring your vehicle to normal height. If the vehicle needs to be raise the solenoid in the bags open permitting air to enter. If the vehicle needs to be lowered the solenoids open allowing air to leave the bags.
